Winning actually isn't the only thing

Monday, the day of the football game that sent Packer fans all over to go mad. The replacement refs made the call of the year; arguable for both sides to decide if it was a touchdown for Green Bay or an interception for the Seahawks. Is winning every thing? according to Vince Lombardi "winning isn't everything, its the only thing." Is it, after a good game even if the team played well yet still lost, is winning all that matters? David Maraniss believes that the Seahawks should have admitted that it was a  touchdown for Green Bay and the team should not have celebrated their win.

Winning isn't everything i feel a game well played is better than losing and playing poorly. When focusing so much on winning it makes one mad and causes them to play bad. If the call was made in the Packers favor I'm sure the Seahawks and fans would be just as worked up. The Seahawks shouldn't have celebrated the way they did though because it is embarrassing to accept that "interception" as a win. Clearly the Packers had the ball for a touchdown.

  1. I think that the packers won that game and I'm a Bears fan. I agree that Seahawk fans would be just as upset if the call was made against them. I think everyone agrees that the refs made a bad call. The way the Seahawks acted like they deserved the win really looked bad and they should have admitted the fact that they got away with this game.

  2. Fans of any team in the NFL would be upset if that call went against their team, and with good reason. It was an awful call and I agree that the Seahawks should not have celebrated as if they deserved to win the game in that way. The post game interviews from Golden Tate and Pete Carroll were what got to me the most though.
